WOW! I loved tonights Family Guy.

I loved the Airplane! jokes and the Little House on the Praire, with Glenn running through the medow field.

and Brian recalling back to when Steweie kicked his ass over the money he owed him--GREAT STUFF!

That prom night dumpster baby thing was completely out there, but funny as well. I never expected that.

This episode definitely seemed to have more of a shock factor than any of the others. I was definitely laughing and thinking "Should I be laughing?" LOL

..not that I didn't like it, but that's more of South Park's realm. I like it more when Family Guy is just stupid/funny.

Good to see Family Guy is back at the top of its game.

I know it gets put down by South Park fans, but really,
I enjoy BOTH shows. I'm especially happy that after all
these years both continue to make me laugh hard week
after week.

Sunday's episode makes fun of Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure, which I'm hoping maybe Peter time travels or something.

Episode is called "Bill & Peter's Excellent Adventure"

Just got around to watching last weeks episode. I know South Park is brilliant and unabashed genius while Family Guy is "Base, lazy and mediocre" but GOD DAMN! last week was hilarious. I just don't get how some people can hate this show so much.

Family guy's "Bill & Peter's Bogus Journey" episode SUCKED! tonight

I could BARELY get a laugh in on the two best jokes

1) Octopuss sticky wall walker gag
2) Night Court theme song

I could have done without the New Orleans joke, that was just so wrong.

Loved the wacky wall walker bit, though and the Night Court theme.

I still cannot freakin' believe that that show didn't sell well enough on dvd! :frowning:

The sticky wall thing was definitely the best part. The Conway Twitty cutaways (which I assume were from Hee Haw) weren't funny at all. :frowning:

Desperate Housewives was a repeat, so finally had the opportunity to catch a new episode and I sure wish it was last week. Funny bits to me octopus on the wall, Bill Clinton dancing on the video game my wife and I thought was kind of funny and the theme from the show (I guess it's Night Court as posted previously) got a chuckle but I've seen better shows.

Shows how much I remember, I thought it was the theme from "Barney Miller".:)

I liked when Brian and Stewie flushed the toilet and ran away scared.

What about the sausages that Brian left for adam West? :)

I enjoyed the joke about New Orleans. It is long past the time when it is finally ok to joke about it.
I liked the flashing skeleton. LOL

I think the one thing that kept the N.O. thing from crossing the line, is that they made fun of those drunken "Girls Gone Wild" girls and not the poor/helpless people. When they first started playing it, I thought that's what it was....then (after a few bars) I realized what it was.

Really? That was horribly unfunny, along the lines of the dumpster baby from the week before. Family Guy is going for the cheap shocks, not the actual humor. I understand they were trying to satirize Peter and Chris forgetting about New Orleans, but the joke was in incredibly poor taste.

I wonder: if the same joke was made about the World Trade Center, would it ever make it past the censors, let alone be thought of as funny?
