This episode definitely seemed to have more of a shock factor than any of the others. I was definitely laughing and thinking "Should I be laughing?" LOL
..not that I didn't like it, but that's more of South Park's realm. I like it more when Family Guy is just stupid/funny.
Good to see Family Guy is back at the top of its game.
I know it gets put down by South Park fans, but really, I enjoy BOTH shows. I'm especially happy that after all these years both continue to make me laugh hard week after week.
Just got around to watching last weeks episode. I know South Park is brilliant and unabashed genius while Family Guy is "Base, lazy and mediocre" but GOD DAMN! last week was hilarious. I just don't get how some people can hate this show so much.
"Now here's what the crash would look like if the plane hit a school for bunnies and one guy survived and went home and mercilessly beat his wife"
Desperate Housewives was a repeat, so finally had the opportunity to catch a new episode and I sure wish it was last week. Funny bits to me octopus on the wall, Bill Clinton dancing on the video game my wife and I thought was kind of funny and the theme from the show (I guess it's Night Court as posted previously) got a chuckle but I've seen better shows.
I think the one thing that kept the N.O. thing from crossing the line, is that they made fun of those drunken "Girls Gone Wild" girls and not the poor/helpless people. When they first started playing it, I thought that's what it was....then (after a few bars) I realized what it was.
can some one shed some light on who the live singer is? i've seen him before on late nights, no? this is on repeats and stuff. ain't that guy *before* seth m's time?
Really? That was horribly unfunny, along the lines of the dumpster baby from the week before. Family Guy is going for the cheap shocks, not the actual humor. I understand they were trying to satirize Peter and Chris forgetting about New Orleans, but the joke was in incredibly poor taste.
I wonder: if the same joke was made about the World Trade Center, would it ever make it past the censors, let alone be thought of as funny?
