I have a Panasonic CP72, anyone know if you can have the component and composite(or Svideo) video out hooked up at the same time?

Yes, I know "why would I want to", but with the spahgetti of wires I can see where it might be useful at times.

    Thanks,

One hook-up usually over-rides the other, you might want to make sure your best connection isn't getting booted off when connecting both types at same time.

I have used progressive component and composite out simultanously on this unit. Works great, but I have never tried component and s-video.

Thanks for the replies. Jonathan, have ever hooked the audio out to a splitter?

No I haven't. With only one splitter per channel you shouldn't notice much difference unless the output stage is very sensitive to a reduction in impedance.
