Just for information only:

I bought a 50pk of Fuji DVD-Rs last week from Best Buy and they will only burn at 1X on my Pioneer DVR-105 with latest firmware and only at 2X with my NEC ND 2500A.

RITEK discs have never failed to burn at max speed.

Regards,
-Gary

A couple good deals this week.

Office Depot has their (2) Maxell DVD -/+ 15 packs for $26.97 again.

Office Max has 100 packs of DVD+Rs for $70 after $10 rebate. The ad says they are 2.4x, but my local store has 4x Ridata (Ritek) discs. They are blank silver discs. Not guaranteed to have the same in all stores. The 100 pack of CD-Rs for $20 plus $20 rebate were also Ridata.

Office Max also has 10 packs of 4x Memorex DVD+RWs in jewel boxes for $10. That's a great deal. My store was out. :frowning:

yep, i picked up one tonight. i got nervous at first, i thought the fine print on the yellow sticker on the shelf said $30 mail in rebate, but it was instant rebate. i took advantage of the same deal at office depot a little while ago, amazing how fast i went through 50 discs
