Hello. I replaced both woofer surrounds on a pair of Infinity SM-152 speakers. I did not find any speaker gaskets in between the plastic trim ring and the speaker basket frame. I ordered a set of (2) from Simply Speakers dot com. I hope I am doing the right thing on this matter. When I allowed the supplied glue to cure after 36 hours, I was told that it would take 30 hours of playing a wide dynamic range of music in order to "break them in" Is this true?

Opinions are all over the place on this question. I'm going to stick my neck out and say that the consensus is a couple of hours break-in.

With woofer surrounds, I don't think it will be a big difference, but I suspect you might hear some subtle refinement for a month or two of bass-heavy playback.
