Yes, I know it's Monsteropolis. but where in the world is it? The reason for asking is that the time zones in the monster and human worlds don't match up:

Near the start of the movie, when the monsters begin their scare shift it's early morning in monster world but sunset in the eastern USA. This implies that the monster world is somewhere in the Orient. However, at a later point in the movie, Sully and Mike get exiled from the monster world into Tibet. It's early afternoon in monster world but night-time in Tibet. Hence, it can't be the Orient. So where is it?


And before anyone says it, you're right - I should get a life.

Damn! The reason I wanted to know was that we were planning to have our next summer vacation there but I was worried about the jet lag.
