My post was made at the same time as the one that said Tracy Morgan was gone. Hopefully somebody will get funnier, they'll a new funny person or they'll have a really good line-up of hosts.

I think that Jimmy Falon and Horatio Sanz are the best cast members. Jared's Webcam is always a highlight for me. Horatio seems to just ad lib ALL his lines . Chris Parnell is also a funny guy. The Featured players are all pretty good and at least Seth Meyer and Jeff Richards will likely be bumped up to regular cast members next season since they've been on a season longer than the rest.

The Falchoner was the highlight of the show.

Not all the remaining cast memebers are horrible, but they aren't good enough to carry the show. Of course, I suspect the real problem is the writers.

I've watched only a few shows this past season, and I've watched it on and off since the late '70s. It seems to me that the current anchors on the weekend update are the worst they've ever had on that show. Constantly stumbling over lines, laughing at things that aren't even funny. Does anyone like them?

Then you probably missed Charles Rocket and Colin Quinn. I like Tough Crowd but Colin didn't really work for Update.

Darrell Hammond is the most under-utilized cast member. Despite being the senior cast member (since 95-96 season) he's in one or two sketches a night. Molly Shannon got more screen time when she was a featured player.

When can we hope to see Dennis Miller or Joe Piscopo host?

Yeah, I don't like the current Weekend Update either. But that's partly because I don't like Jimmy Fallon.

I think Will Forte is pretty funny. For some stupid reason, I find "The Falconer" to be absolutely hilarious. And that "Shut the F up!" 50's Ent skit had be rolling. He reminded me of a certain mustachioed traffic cop from my hometown that everyone here loves to hate.

I can picture Fred Armisen becoming a favorite now that Chris and Tracy are gone. ("Hiii... I'm Gabe Fisher....")

Horatio Sanz is hysterical as Saddam Hussein.

And I agree that Darrel Hammond is grossly underused.

And John Goodman's brief cameo as Anna-Nicole Smith was hilarious.

I like Will Forte's index card shuffling character of candidate Tim Calhoun.
