"F for Fake"

"Touch of Evil" second version.

"Chimes at Midnight"

Ok, all I want for Christmas....is 1 movie;

Treasure Island (1990 - Charlton Heston)

It was originally show on TNT as a Turner Production. I am not even sure who owns the rights to this movie anymore. I am thinking maybe Warner owns it now that Turner merged with them.

Now that Katharine Hepburn has died, there's quite a number of her films that would be really smart to release:

LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT (Avco Embassy)

THE IRON PETTICOAT (Paramount) (not known to be a good movie, but since it's never shown anywhere, it would sell out of curiousity...)

CHRISOPHER STRONG (RKO)

THE RAINMAKER (Paramount)

THE LITTLE MINISTER (RKO)

QUALITY STREET (RKO)

A WOMAN REBELS (RKO)

BRINGING UP BABY (RKO)

HOLIDAY (COLUMBIA)

THE SEA OF GRASS (MGM)

for starters.....

LONG DAY'S JOURNEY INTO NIGHT (Avco Embassy)

Here are a few that come to mind at this moment:

Silver Streak (1976)

52 Pickup

To Live and Die in LA

Phase IV

The Greatest Show on Earth (An Oscar winning film)

Robinson Crusoe on Mars

Tess (1979)

Show Boat (1936)

Colossus: The Forbin Project (1970)

Looking for Mr Goodbar - I doubt we'll ever see this on DVD because of anticipated music rights problem

Another DVD that I just thought of is a region 1 issue
of EDUCATING RITA. Great acting and screenplay.:)

My SILVER STREAK laserdisc is full screen so obviously
I have to upgrade and get rid of the damn thing.
:D I just won a WS LD of "Silver Streak" on eBay within the last hour. I ended up paying a little more than I wanted to (I used the "Buy it Now" option), but I avoided a bidding war. I had lost bidding wars the last three times I tried to win this LD. With my luck it will probably be announced tomorrow for DVD release! :frowning:
