LarryDavenport: Neil Young's 1972 semi-documentary?! I too would love to see it. I'm a big Neil Young fan. It would be great to see the 1976 Neil & Crazy Horse concert film too.
Winter Kills is on DVD from Anchor Bay as a 2-Disc Special Edition. :)

I second Paul Nyman's Leningrad Cowboys vote, as well as some other Aki Kaurismaki stuff: Ariel, La Vie de Boheme, Match Factory Girl...maybe when Man Without a Past comes out, we'll get some coattail riders, too. I'd also like his brother Mika's Zombie and the Ghost Train.

Others:

Anything by Emir Kusturica, especially Black Cat White Cat, Underground, and Time of the Gypsies

City Unplugged, an Estonian heist film

Welsh dark comedy Twin Town

Swedish '70s cop film Man on the Roof

Lapp adventure film Pathfinder

Icelandic comedy Remote Control

The Chocolate War

Claude Chabrol's The Swindle

Juzo Itami's Minbo

Grisbi, with Jean Gabin and Jeanne Moreau

Safe Men and Lawn Dogs with Sam Rockwell

Guilty Pleasure: Trespass

Mostly I am BURNING INSIDE for some Kusturica.

*EDIT: John Kilduff -- yeah, I'd buy a copy of Urgh!

I think that Frederick Wiseman's controversial 1967 documentary, TITICUT FOLLIES really ought to be on DVD. Time and again, it is called 'the greatest documentary ever made' - it would make a great Criterion DVD. I e-mailed Criterion yesterday about the film. Wiseman's HIGH SCHOOL (1969) would also make an interesting DVD.
