Uh oh.

Did something get by me, Jeff?

I've raised a few eyebrows with other titles in the past. But never anything I'd consider "straight up porn."

'Taboo' is hardcore porn. Interestingly it's dressed up as a 'Classic' film, and I was surprised to see it on Amazon, I didn't think they sold that either.

Huh. I've been using the same "New Release" lists for years. Never had anything like that show up before. I wonder if I'm not the only place to pass along that information!

Ooops!

Come to think of it...maybe it IS a classic after all!

Well it is one of the more notable classics from the golden age. :) It's probably just because it's being released by a studio that isn't a strictly adult studio that it's able to be listed on the mainstream release lists and vendors.

I'm certainly not offended or complaining about it's inclusion. Just rather surprised to see it there.

I figure to keep it there...unless someone is offended.

I'm not feeling compelled to keep it or ditch it. Don't feel strongly either way.

But don't expect this treatment every week, RoundUppers!

Although I doubt very many of us here would opt for it, I suppose it's worth noting that Amazon has opened orders for the DVD-only release of The Jungle Book at a $17.99 price point. This seems to be a new pattern for them with Disney titles, going back to The Force Awakens, where the Blu-ray is pre-order-able, but they won't accept orders for the DVD until it is actually in stock.

I wrote earlier that I would buy The Night Manager "soon" despite its high price. I saw the DVD version on store shelves today (no Blu-ray next to it, oddly enough), and glancing at it it appears that is in fact completely barebones. Given this, $29.99 for 6 episodes is absurd, even if they are six great episodes, so I am now going to wait for a price drop, I think.

If anybody else gets this and knows differently, let me know - thanks.
