Too bad none of the Circuit Cities around me even stock the Noir set. I really hate going to that store because they never have anything I want.

How cool is this? I just got Best Buy to price match CC on the Film Noir box with a printed copy of the Weekly Roundup post! She didn't even bat an eye. Thanks, Mike!

Wow I can actually say "by request" on the FYE/Strawberries/Coconuts rebates.

Not too much this week. Of course last week's rebates are still active for the week.

Only a couple to add, and Phil will be happy to know he has 2 out of 3 covered. Both are $10 rebates.

Butterfly Effect..............$10 after rebate
Six Feet Under Season 2.......$70 after rebate

Sorry guys, pretty slim this week. Still have to watch all those I received the past few weeks anyway.

I got Six Feet Under at Costco, but the employee looked at me like I was crazy when I asked about Batman and Challenge of the Superfriends, so I went to Best Buy for those.

He did offer me the Spider-Man '67 Collection instead, though...

Thanks DanielCo, guess I will get Six Feet Under from Amazon with a STL reference. Not sure about the History of Rock & Roll, will have to check out at Best Buy.

Local New England chain Newbury Comics has History of Rock for 69.99 this week. Ususally they're good for local selection, but this seems like a good price for you. They now allow mail order as well.

Borders has the Chanthology on sale this week for $49.99. Not a bad price.

Didn't find the Noir set to see what their price on it was.

CostCo's striking out on the superhero stuff. Last week Wonder Woman; this week Batman Animated. I did pick up the Friends S7 with the 10.00 off coupon though.

My observations from today's shopping excursion:

Not found at Best Buy: Prime of Miss Jean Brodie
Criss Cross

Not Found at Circuit City: Film Noir Collection

Charged $16.99 at Best Buy instead of $14.99: North Avenue Irregulars

Priced at $9.99 at Best Buy insted of $12.99: Red Sonja

That's nothing! I just wrote "Film Noir - $5" on a piece of notebook paper and got them to match that!

The best price on the Charlie Chan set appears to be at Costco. I've been told that they're selling the set for $39.99. That's $6 cheaper than what DDD was selling it for.

My local BJs warehouse Club has expanded its section of discounted DVDs. Many $8 and some $7 and $10. I picked up Mad Dog & Glory for $8 and saw the Billy Wilder Collection (Sabrina, Sunset Blvd., and a third movie which escapes me right now) for $18!

To update my BJs prices from last week:

Butterfly Effect $15.99
CSI/Miami $64.99
Superfriends Season 1 $24.99
Six Feet Under Season 2 $67.99

Has anybody seen a good price on the third volume of Wiseguy (Prey For The City), which came out on Tuesday (I saw one last week in a presumed street date break, but the price was too high...)?
