Thanks once again for the RoundUp, Mike!

I found all the Bob Hope blu-rays on sale for $14.97 each at Kinolorber.com. I cancelled my Amazon order and went with them, free shipping and no tax.

Thanks for your hard work as always, Mike!

It's a big week for me with one title, but a very significant one. Balto is one of my last remaining holy grail titles. I grew up on this film and, at this point, never really expected a Blu-ray release. It is also the only movie I ever wanted on disc badly enough to purchase a pan & scan DVD, which I am thrilled to now be able to retire at last. I haven't seen the movie in widescreen since its theatrical release in 1995, so am very much looking forward to seeing it again on Tuesday.

There was a thread in the Blu-ray software forum a while back about this being a Wal-Mart exclusive a few months ago, and I tried to find it at multiple stores in my area, but for whatever reason they didn't stock it here. So it's on its way from Amazon with holiday delivery on Tuesday.

Also, while it's not a movie, it is very much connected to one: Fan of Fiddler on the Roof will want to take note of After Anatevka, a book sequel out Tuesday which follows what happens to Hodel after the end of the stage show/movie when she travels to Siberia to find Perchick. The author, Alexandra Silber, played Tzeitel in the most recent Broadway production ofFiddler last year, and was also Hodel in London prior to that.

I've had this pre-ordered since it was first available in October, but cancelled yesterday once I found that my local bookstore put it out early. I've been reading it today and only put it down because I'm at a chapter break and it's about dinnertime here. It's REALLY good, and if you're fond of Fiddler, it's something I would wholeheartedly recommend.

This is a slow month for me.

The Zookeeper's Wife was a pretty good movie and Jessica Chastain turned in another solid performance so it's worth a rental.

Still, thanks for the prices, Mike! :)

Happy Independence Day week, RoundUppers!

Only one title for me this week--The Zookeeper's Wife.

Release day falls, of course, on July 4th. I hope deliveries will happen that day by USPS. I suspect they will.

And as I look ahead--deeper into the month of July--I see that the streak of weeks of sparse new releases will be coming to an end!

Thanks for the prices, Mike. Still working on some late arrivals which were in the previous two weeks' RoundUps (and one that's from March but only arrived last week!).

The two Roads for me
Two roads diverged in a yellow wood,
And sorry I could not travel both
And be one traveler, long I stood
And looked down one as far as I could
To where it bent in the undergrowth;

Then took the other, as just as fair,
And having perhaps the better claim,
Because it was grassy and wanted wear;
Though as for that the passing there
Had worn them really about the same,

And both that morning equally lay
In leaves no step had trodden black.
Oh, I kept the first for another day!
Yet knowing how way leads on to way,
I doubted if I should ever come back.

I shall be telling this with a sigh
Somewhere ages and ages hence:
Two roads diverged in a wood, and I —
I took the one less traveled by,
And that has made all the difference.

Nothing here, and that's a good thing. I'll be spending more than enough in Anaheim starting next Saturday for the week.

Thanks as always Mike!

My delivery today has been delayed to the 5th on account of the holiday...which would be fine with me except that delivery on the 4th was indicated in checkout and in my account.

I just talked with a very nice rep from Amazon about this who agreed to extend my Prime membership by a month to compensate for the inconvenience.

If any of you are similarly affected, I would suggest contacting Amazon about it. Be nice and complimentary to their service and you shouldn't have to press too hard to get this extension.
