One more thing: I just noticed that "The Animation Show, Volume 1" is coming out this week (I hate it when something gets released that's not in DVDPricesearch's database, and I'm blindsided!). Looks cool! Any insight out there on what it's going to go for in the B&M's? Amazon has it for $24.95.

Thanks!

Bob: This is kinda like a Twilight Zone week for me. Never heard of this. Don't see anything at Best Buy or Circuit City on it. The Amazon description does, indeed, make it sound interesting. Sorry. Can't help.

Thanks for the Roundup Mike.

Just Last Samurai for me and I already preordered the Marx Brothers set for the wife (huge fan).

Great job, Mike. Best of Abbott and Costello vol. 2 and A Night at the Opera for me. Pre-ordered both of these though so no trekking out to the B&M's for me. :D

Oh Man! This is bankruptcy week for me like most of this month will be:

Marx Brothers Collection
Abbott and Costello Vol. 2
Ma & Pa Kettle Vol. 2
Threes Company Season 2
Last Samurai
Battleground

I Guess these will have to wait until later unless I can get a second job:

Herbie Rides Again
Herbie goes to Monte Carlo
Strongest Man in the World
Now you See Him, Now you Don't
Road Movie Collection

Don't have the money for The Herbie movies this week, but I Price Matched Uptown Girls at Wal*Mart. The guy made a mistake and took off an extra 3 dollars, so I got it for 6.48. That was the best deal I've ever gotten on a DVD. Thanks for the heads up!

Also, I'd like to mention a few BV markdowns from UltimateDisney.com:

May 1- Temporary Price Drops:

• Finding Nemo
• Monsters, Inc.

June 1 - Temporary Price Drops:

• Aristocats, The
• Buzz Lightyear Of Star Command: The Adventure Begins
• Hercules - Gold Collection
• Make Mine Music - Gold Collection
• Melody Time - Gold Collection
• Pete's Dragon - Gold Collection
• Rescuers Down Under, The - Gold Collection
• Rescuers, The

Presumably, you'll be able to find them for under $15 in some stores.

June 1 - Permanent Price Drops:

Disney:
• Country Bears, The
• Flubber
• Parent Trap, The (1998) (apparently back in print?)

Does any one know how much Walmart and Sams Club will be on Gilmore Girls: The Complete First Season?

How about Fry's Electronics? Anybody got any idea what their price will be?

Walmart does not have a set price. They tend to lower their price to be in line with local competition. It depends on what stores around your local Walmart are going to be charging.

I picked this up there also. But be careful, several of the sets including the one I almost purchased had two of the Room Service/AT the circus discs and did not have Go West/the Big Store. So look carefully, I alerted the manager to pull the bad ones off the shelf at the San Diego/Morena blvd Costco. I also got the Party of Five set for $29.99 (the GF will be happy)

Also I could not find Abbott and Costello vol 2 at Costco or circuit city. Oh well I will be off to Best Buy to get that and Three's company season 3 and Last Samarai

Anyone know what other rebate titles are at FYE besides Last Samurai???

Also in the Chicago Tribune today, there was a full 2 page centerfold ad for Last Samurai. Not for any particular store, just that the dvd was available today. Never saw any ad this size for a dvd. It compared with new CHristmas movie releases.
