thoughts on Sharp XV-Z12000 (1 Viewer)

i am considering purchasing this projector for my home theater. Do you guys think that it is a good projector? What other projectors is it comparable to in its price range?
any input would be greatly appreciated

It is an excellent unit, it's an HD2+ dlp, so there are a number of very similarly priced and performing competitors. You can probably find them at pretty low prices nowadays. What else are you considering, and what price are you looking at for a 12K?
