Replacing a Viewsonic PX701-4K with ??? (1 Viewer)

Hello All,

Our theater is used for the kids basic PS4 gaming and us watching movies/sports via a ROKU Ultra 4k which streams 4K, HDR and Dolby Vision. That's it. No other hardware.

• When watching a movie in 7.1.2 I want the image to be as good as the sound but I don't want to overbuy.
• I don't care about PS4 resolution.
• The room is dark with no windows.
• Our screen is 120"
• Projector is ceiling mounted 18' back but moveable if needed. HDMI connection.
• Room is 22x14

The home came with a Viewsonic PX701-4K and I'm not a fan. Nothing is crisp and there is a massive 18" halo around the screen. I'd like to keep the purchase price below $2k. Any recommendations are appreciated.

I had the PX747-4K and replaced with an UST Hisense, been a huge upgrade. Quite happy with it.
