Hopefully this means that they are getting ready to re-release it on Blu-ray. When I mentioned how bad this Blu-ray looked in a thread about Disney on Blu-ray started by Robert Harris, he replied "They're aware."

I gotta hope they want our $ for this on blu-ray disc.

I just watched a few scenes of this specific version and it looks indeed gorgeous!
The grain is excellently resolved!
In fact, it seems to me like scan of a negative! I don't say that this is the case, but it's that good!
I even paused at times, because it looked amazing!
Of course there is the usual cell dust, but I don't mind that at all.

If all Disney classic animation films looked exactly like this on Bluray...
This would be a dream come true!
