Interesting, perhaps we're jumping the gun here? It would be nice if this was a Season 2 Volume 1 with the same setup as the previous releases.

The tvshowsondvd article also lists the Amazon disc count, and running time an error. They confirmed it with the studio the running time will be 92 minutes on a single disc.

Just did a little checking and.....season 2 lasted 48 episodes.


The 5 episodes on the disc are wildly out of order, spanning the entire season.

Only 5 episodes and not even in order=Doomsday for the Smurfs:frowning:

In order to combat this low feeling I'm having about the Smurfs, I'm ordering the complete Real Ghostbusters box set from Time-Life tonight.

Perhaps this is simply a single cheap disc to appeal to the soccer mom crowd. Kind of like the Looney Tunes spotlight collections. Maybe WB will release S2V1 later on for the collectors, or maybe even the complete S2.

I was hoping the same thing. The banner does say "HB Kids Collection", so maybe there still a S2 release coming down the line.
