I know this is a basic question, but I was hoping since the topic is specific to subs, it would be okay to ask here.
(I have an Onkyo 650 HTiB---all I could really afford. Once I learn more, and I move, I intend to put it in the bedroom and develop a system slowly, using the advice here. Thanks folks.

Anyway, my placement options are very limited. I have no choice but to place my TV console at an angle in a corner of the room. The center will be on the console, and the front mains on stands on either side. It would really save space if I could place the sub in the corner BEHIND the TV console. I've been told that is fine, but I wanted to check here for confirmation.
