    What do you all prefer? I just downloaded Eudora 5.1 (Basically Eudora 4.7.x.x with SSL and something called MoodWatch being the Major upgrades..)
    But I've been playing with the options and stuff, what do you guys typically prefer via email. Like when I choose between HTML and Text, I prefer plain text, faster to download and just smaller email msgs, but how about stylized versus plain text? Is there a recognized preference between them nowadays? I bet now most email clients will recognize stylized mail whereas I've always sent plain text before because it used to be iffy.

    Always plain text. Don't assume that everybody uses an email client that interprets HTML tags; most people don't.

    I agree, e-mail should always be plain text. So-called "rich" email doesn't really add anything but useless size.

    Plain text all the way.
    Plain text is best for compatibility and readability.
    Plain = good
