Sony's new 4K HDR Laser projector (1 Viewer)

We just finished upgrading a client's theater with Sony's VPL-VW5000ES projector. The image quality is by far the best I have ever seen on a front projection system.

SDR 1080p looks great, but 4K HDR looks incredible! Here's a couple photos of one of our techs fine tuning the ceiling mount with Peerless's new mount.

I know you are kidding, but when I got to the job my techs were reinforcing the mounting system with 2" x 8" studs in the attic above and the ceiling and the ceiling plate mount was anchored with large lag bolts. Then two of my techs hung on the mast pipe to test the reinforced structure before hanging the VW500ES projector.

Robert, what do you see as an affordable native 4K laser projector coming down the pike, or already here, for us poor (less than 10 grand) slobs?

Not sure at this moment, but I suggest we see what comes up at CEDIA in September. Maybe Epson, but just a guess and wishful thinking.

I wish i had the funds! I'm hoping that 2-3 years on my VW350ES can be replaced by a model at a similar price point that has a laser light engine and HDR!
