Sony STR-DB930 calibration (1 Viewer)

Hi to everybody,
i'm new here. I must say that this is a really great site, congratulations.
I'm writing from Switzerland and i hope that you'll forgive my bad english.
I own my hometheatre system since 1999 but untill now i didnt care much about calibrations (mean that i kept it standard).
I own a Sony KV32FX60B,Dvd Sony 725D,Ampli Sony STR-DB930 and speakers SA Ve 705 Sony's, and even if it looks a bit older and speakers are not as good as big names i'm pretty happy with it (next year if Santa will bring me some money i'll probably change everything... ).

I'm reading the STR-db930 manual but i can't really understand ....
Is there someone so kind to help me/show me/lear me something about calibration with this:

LEVEL

FRONT BALANCE: from -8 to +8
REAR BALANCE: from -8 to +8
REAR LEVEL: from -10dB to +10dB
CENTER LEVEL: from -10dB to +10dB
SUB WOOF.LVL: from -10dB to +10dB
LFE MIX LVL: muting,or from -20dB to 0 dB
DYNAMIC RANGE COMP: OFF,from 0.1 to 0.9,STD or MAX

EQUALIZER

FRONT BASS GAIN: from -10db to +10db
FRONT BASS FREQUENCY: from 100Hz to 1.0 kHz
FRONT MID GAIN: from -10dB to +10dB
FRONT MID FREQUENCY: from 500Hz to 5kHz
FRONT TREBLE GAIN: from -10dB to +10dB
FRONT TREBLE FREQUENCY: from 1.0Khz to 10Khz
CENTER BASS GAIN: from -10dB to +10dB
CENTER BASS FREQUENCY: from 100Hz to 1.0 kHz
CENTER MID GAIN: from -10dB to +10Db
CENTER MID FREQUENCY: from 500 Hz to 5 kHz
CENTER TREBLE GAIN: from -10dB to +10dB
CENTER TREBLE FREQUENCY: from 1.0 Khz to 10 kHz
REAR BASS GAINrom -10db to +10dB

is there any possessor of same system that kindly can put his calibrations or is there anybody that can explain me the above numbers cause it's like chinese for me.
