Sony BDP-S570 vs. LG BD-570: Which is better specifically for viewing DVDs? (1 Viewer)

Headline says it all: Which will offer better quality for upscaling and viewing DVDs: Sony BDP-S570 or LG BD-570? That's my main criterion for buying, as I'll likely do DVDs for some time before doing Blu-rays.


(Inevitably, someone will want to suggest yet another player, and I'm open to such suggestions. Just want to make sure it has wifi capability.)

The Sony upscales dvds beautifully. The only drawback is that the layer change is still evident on dvds. That may be the case on most players, though. I am extremely happy with the upscale. Even dvdr discs look good.
