I am overwhelmed and would love any advice you can offer!
I would like to keep the TV under $3,000.

You don't have the four TV's I'd recommend on your above post. The best four TVs I suggest you look at are:
  1. Sony's 77" A80J OLED TV
  2. LG's 77" C1 OLED TV
  3. Samsung's 75" QN90A, LCD TV
  4. Sony's 75" X95J LCD TV
If you are interested in purchasing from our company we have all of these TVs on sale and available to deliver Nationwide. Sony's 77A90J and 75X95J sales ends tomorrow evening. The prices go up at 12pm Sunday, October 17th.

can vouch that the Samsung Q90A set is worth the splurge. I picked up the 75" version in July and have zero regrets (well, other than wishing I would have justified the 85" instead! )

No local stores including Costco carry the Q90A series so I had to order via Amazon

I've been doing a lot of research lately and it looks like it has come down the the Sony X95J. I won't go with OLED because we watch a LOT of cable TV news and sports channels that all have static logos and information bars, and I won't accept the risk of burn-in. The Samsung QN85/QN90 gets super bright, but the colors are boosted and it seems to have a sort of video game look to it.

Love Sony's new X95J 4K HDR TV! The new XR processor is a very nice upgrade for the 2021 model year! What screen size are you considering?
