Seriously, I don't find the gesture all the bizarre. Perhaps he wanted to do that blowing thing on the kid's stomach and thought better of it at the last minute (kids love it, but it doesn't look too presidential). 8 is a bit old for that kind of game but what the hey.

Maybe its a cultural peculiarity. In the Philippines, parents usually kiss the baby boy's genitalia. It is never thought of anything but a sign of affection. Also, because its traditional for adolescent boy to get circumcised around puberty, we check each other's "peckers" to see if the glans shows properly, before and after the "cut". Its not anything homosexual..though I guess we will never know who was enjoying more than the others.
