First post!!!
I looked over the info and could not find the answer I was looking for.

I am finishing construction on the house additions and have a question.

The components are located about five feet away from where the DLP or Plasma will be. I want to run the cables in the wall while I still can. So what all do I run to from where the components are to behind the TV.
I was thinking the following:
(1) DVI
(1) Component
(1) S-video
(1) pair center channel speaker wire.

I want to run everything I might need. Any suggestions? Maybe two sets of Component??

Help,
Jason

I think I would do 2 sets of component and also 2 DVI. You can already get an HD box with DVI and a DVD player with DVI, so 2 sets could be nice to have. Also, I would run some a 2" PVC pipe or conduit because there is no way to future proof your wiring, so runing the pipe or conduit will allow for easy upgrades down the road.
