Just how casual a fan do you have to be to think the teaser was "the same as the others"? The dialogue is different, most of the sets are new (Minas Tirith, Shelob's lair, the Pelennor Fields). I think anyone with INTEREST in seeing the film can pick up the details. Only someone who doesn't give a horse's ass about the first two films could possibly think it was "more of the same". And honestly, that's not the people being targeted by this film.
