Aloha home theater gurus! I’m over here doing my best to figure it out as I go. Over the past decade I’ve slowly bought a couple pieces. So far I had a Yamaha RX-V681, until my Monster Surge Protector HDP850G started trippin for no apparent reason and now the receiver is displaying an arrow code indicating it needs a new digital card ($300 plus I think). It’d be awesome if monster would repair my stereo under the power strip warranty but I’m struggling to figure that out. Should I repair it out of pocket or get a new Yamaha RX-V6A?!
For speakers I have Kelipsch book shelf speakers up front so far R-15M’s, with a Kelipsch center channel RP-404C, and a Kelipsch 12” woofer R-120SW. I plan to get Kelipsch reference towers up front and move the book shelf speakers around back eventually.
