I have allways said polk audio like this: poke audio (no L?)

Yet I know a guy you says the "L." I hope he is wrong, because the sounds SO stupid. If Im soposed to say the L, polk should change their name!

I couldn't resist when he said "Poke" Hahahaha. I haven't laughed that hard in a while....it just took me off guard, and I had finally found the perfect use for that gremlin. :D

I've always heard it pronounced with the L. Why wouldn't it be? What's so bad about it? Would you prefer that Matthew Polk change his company name to Matthew Audio or something? And would you insist on pronouncing that ma-hew?

Make sure when you prounounce BOSE to leave out the highs and lows.

*This name and it's letters are patented. In fact all letters and even words are patented by Bose.

very seriously, I pronounce these all the same. And I own all pokes, inc monitor 10s, except sub woof. Polk is Poke, for me.

dan

puhlk, is that how you "l" folks pronounce it?

ok, here from American Heritage Dict: yoke (y½k) n.

and: yolk (y½k) n. didn't copy well, but pronunciation is the same. "yok" with some accent over the "o".

heck, ask the guy....
