TBH, I've never been a fan of any of Roman Holiday's original poster art or publicity (which is why I have a poster of Breakfast at Tiffany's, despite that being my second or third favorite Hepburn film).

I would love to see a Criterion-style illustration for the cover instead.

I hope that Paramount's new licensing deals, and films like ROMAN HOLIDAY coming out from the studio itself, will continue. So much of its catalog has been in demand for a very long (hopefully not too long) time.

Isn't it about time you removed The Nun's Story from your Paramount wish list? :)

I'll wait for the reviews but how I hate that ugly packaging. Just give me a regular blu ray case without all the trashy packaging.

Here are highlights of the Zoom press event that featured Film Historian Leonard Maltin and Paramount Head of Archives Andrea Kalas.

Very interesting, and a nice piece.

But it tells a very different story from the marketing blurb.

If the restored film is derived from an extant fine grain, with parts from a dupe, it should be beautiful.

I have no idea why this must be confusing.

Now looking forward to this release.

Yup, and I'm glad you're happy with those as opposed to owning physical discs. Guess I'm just an old dog.

I guess my question is: why aren't all of the films Paramount is releasing here, plus all of those being released only in Australia, available everywhere? I don't believe there is a single Aussie title that is available from "Paramount Presents," or vice-versa with the exception of WAR OF THE WORLDS. I'm sure there is a reason for this exclusivity, but I'm not getting it.

Someone at the press event asked specifically about A Place in the Sun and Kalas said that one was completed as far as Paramount Archives is concerned, but no statement on when that will be coming to Paramount Presents BD.
