Yep. Considering that I 'only' have a 1080i display and most cable broadcasts aren't known for being top notch, ROTS really did look great on HBO.
Don't forget the all six movies start running on HBO HD on February 3 (but not in a row).

I was finally able to track down a PAL DVD of TPM. The good news is that the video quality is much better than the R1 NTSC DVD; not as good as AOTC or ROTS, but definately a great improvement, and no EE. The bad news is because of the 4% PAL speedup, the soundtrack sounds funny, the characters sound like they've been sucking helium.
Hopefully, Lucasfilm will make the announcement for the ultimate boxset soon.

I'm sure that will be the big press event at the big Lucasfilm-organised Celebration IV in May.
