Well, here's my curve at our normal listening levels (19 below reference) and a 100 crossover:

Our room does some crazy stuff with the 50Hz tone. If I walk around the room, I can hear the volume changing on 50Hz. Three feet from my "sweet spot" the peak drops from 50Hz and shifts to 56Hz. Same thing with 71Hz. Crazy fluctuations depending on where I stand in the room.

My BFD should arrive on Friday if UPS cooperates :) I'm not sure how I'm supposed to account for different levels at different seating positions though. :frowning:

Aldamon,

Congrat on ur new SVSub. I'm currently doing a PEQ using BFD on my sub as well. In your case, try to play around w/ sub's placement and phase. I had to move my sub to 5 different places to try get the flatest responses possible. Have fun tweaking...

Unfortunately, because of the layout of the room, I'm stuck with the spot it's in. I don't anticipate getting a flat response from every listening location but hopefully it'll be closer than it is now. I figure if I lower 28Hz and 50Hz and somehow get rid of the null at 71Hz, I'll be in darn good shape.
