I have an A120 (had A110 previously) that automatically shuts off if it remains idle for fifteen minutes or so. This causes some minor inconvenience in the construction of my remote control macros. Does anyone know there is any way to deactivate this feature, either through hidden menus or even with the help of a service technician?

Stephen, my Technics DVD-A10 DVD-Audio player does the same thing, which isn't so surprising considering Panasonic and Technics are part of the same parent company, Matsushita. I am not aware of any way to bypass the auto shut-off feature on the 'A10.
