I seem to be spending a lot of time at HTF, and I must say each day I'm more impressed with our staff of volunteer moderators. They are ready to interact with posters beyond just shuffling posts into topic niches.

Vince in HT Basics is so willing to be helpful that I always read that forum first. (Besides Vince's youngish-looking sig photo, I wonder how he handles a day job!)

Robert A. Fowkes is reigning high as resident Outlaw 950 beta tester and his participation is priceless.

Thanks to all the other holdover and new moderators -- no slight intended by not singling out more names -- we're fortunate to have you and Parker and Ron for assembling this capable stable.

Bill,
This means more to us than you will ever know.
We recently went through a total re-org with
our Moderating team. Some of the Moderators
left, feeling that they no longer had the time
to devote to watching this board. Losing some
of those Moderators was difficult for us.
We recently brought aboard a few new freshes
including Michael Reuben, Jack Briggs, Patrick
Sun, Jason Whyte and and Neil Joseph. They
came in at a difficult time just as the board was
going through a total re-org.
We want everyone on our staff to be helpful.
Vince Maskeeper has especially been helpful to
all of us, reorganizing the forum and handling
all the post diversions.
We kinda like Robert Fowkes, too, although
he's kinda of an old coot and we are never quite
sure if he is being helpful or just acting out
of senility. :)

Bill:

Thanks for all the moderator kudos. I think they are a great group too. Ron and I could never be able to keep up with the forum without their help.

Thank you for the kind words Bill. I've found that I like to do some posting in Basics everyday, I kind of see it as a duty. When I first came to the HTF, I posted a very long and overly complete question about how 16x9 TVs handled various material... and kind souls like Robert George took the time to read my 800 word epic and post very helpful info for me.
I'm just returning the favor from years ago.
Besides Vince's youngish-looking sig photo, I wonder how he handles a day job!
Well, I'm 25 and I found an excellent way to handle a day job: I just don't have one ;)
I run my own website (www.musicianassist.com) as well as work in audio production and engineering (and a little bit of consulting)-- and then also attend school full time (all this and a 3.98 grade point avg!)
So, avoiding day jobs has so far suited me pretty well... I hope to continue until I can retire and then I can really dedicate some time to the HTF ;)

Just......two.........more.........points, Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh.
Congrats on the great GPA there Vince. It is tough, I never made it quite that high, but did manage to finish with a BS in Engineering.
I concur with Bill. This is one outstanding site with a dedicated group of Admins, thanks guys.
Peace Out~:D

Vince,
Whatza matter? Can't pull a 4.0? I guess you must have been three minutes late to one of your professors' classes.

All kidding aside,
