I have an Onkyo S-5500 connected to an Epson 8350. Currently, I have hdmi out from the Onkyo to the Epson. I now want to connect a Wii. Since the Wii doesn't use HDMI, I plugged the RCA cables into the back of the Onkyo. Can that also utilize the HDMI out? I've read here that version of the Onkyo doesn't have HDMI upversion. Does that mean I need to buy a set of RCA cables and run them from the out of the Onkyo to the Epson?

    Thanks!

You do need a seperate component video cable to go from the receiver to the display. Or, you could connect your exsiting component cable from the Wii directly to the display since you have to change the input on the display anyway. Don't forget an audio connection to the receiver.

Or exchange the 5500 for the 6500.
