I am looking into picking up the Onkyo 703 to go with my NHT Superzeros. I've been using a Sony DA50ES with them. My main concern is that the Sony was 120 watts per channel and the Onkyo is 100 per channel. I never even had the Sony up to halfway on the volume so I don't think that the lower power should be an issue, but I wanted to see if anyone has any experience with this or similar combinations.

Thanks!

That small a difference in power rating is unlikely to be significant. In fact, it may just be how the manufacturer's measured it. I wouldn't sweat it.

Nice AVR. I've had a number of Onkyo components over the years and liked them all.

The first CD player I had was an Onkyo and loved it. The 703 seems like a great deal compared to others at similar price points.

Thanks for the info.
