I thought it was already said this was an alien and was a child looking for it’s parent 🤷🏼‍♂️

The shot in question shows something falling out of the sky into the ocean. Hence the theory that a satellite woke up a sea creature. So the shot on it's own didn't confirm an alien.

Yes, it's not really "clear" like many films these days that can't make a simple declarative statement about what happens/happened in their story.

If you look into the far distance in the ferris wheel scene, tilt your head and squint a bit, you can kinda sorta make out a fuzzy something falling in the ocean. But how are we supposed to know what it is or from where in that context?

There's no direct connection to be made from that vague fuzzy background action to "it's an outer space alien baby splashing down" unless that's actually explained by the writers/creators.
