Yeah, I saw this on his website yesterday! Can't wait.
Plus, he is playing at the Atlanta Botanical Gardens on July 31st. The Atlanta Botanical Gardens???? I've seen him quite a few times at the Roxy (always a fantastic show), but THIS I've got to see!

The Mozart "Requiem" from Telarc this fall and new John Hiatt on SACD.

And people say the format is dead. Ha!

He's recorded for so many labels, it's unlikely that even half of his discography will make it to SACD. But at least his A&M titles are owned by SACD-supporter Universal. Bring on Slow Turning.

The Botanical Gardens in Atlanta? That's funny. [IMG]

This Hiatt album is supposedly direct to DSD. [IMG]

Saw John at the Botanical Gardens last night, and as usual, he put on a fantastic show. I must say that Luther Dickenson is one heck of a guitar player! Wow, I was blown away. I loved the North Mississippi All-Stars opening set, and then when they played with Mr. Hiatt, they just rocked. John was in fine form, too, but I expected that, he's just a highly talented entertainer.
