Wife wants to rent a movie tonight. what is a good chick flick that is funny, sexy(no kids tonight):D and might sound ok on the home theater?:emoji_thumbsup:
I am an action flick junkie and she cant stand them. what to do, what to do?????????????????????????

Actually, you should rent "Amelie" even if you don't like subtitled films!

Great film. Funny, clever, good sound.

"Billy Elliot" or "Life is Beautiful"
Both these movies are funny, feel-good, and deeply moving!
I just can't say enough about these films. Rent both!
I'm the proud owner of both DVD's. :emoji_thumbsup: :emoji_thumbsup:

I second Andy's recommendation of Bridget Jones's Diary, although it's probably too late if you didn't get it already.

I second Almost Famous.
Great sound (you get DTS if you go with the theatrical version), heartwarming enough to qualify as a chick flick, and above all, a great movie :)

we ended up renting "a beutiful mind"
What a great movie.!!!!!!!!!!!! it wasnt funny or sexy but it was damn good
