Multi-Region Playback Problem with HD-A2 (1 Viewer)

So, I finally went and bought the HD-A2 after suffering too long with the sound problems of the XBOX 360 HD-DVD Add On.

Now, I own BASIC INSTINCT and RENAISSANCE on HD-DVD, both of which are foreign made HD-DVDs.

They played fine on the 360, but when I put both into the A2 it froze the machine up at the menu.

Is there a way to fix this, or am I just screwed? I know HD-DVD are region free and it should play, but it won't.

Only thing I can think of is to update to the lastest firmware version if you haven't already.
