McIntosh MS-300 Music Server. This is the McIntosh (high end audio, not Apple Computer) CD player/burner, server. It has a 300 MB hard drive with its own operating system compatible with both Windows and Mac. It can stream internet radio as well. Music can be organized into groups and playlists much like an iPod. Music CD's can be burned directly from the hard drive. It can also control several external jukeboxes. It has an internet interface (see pic) and can stream music to a remote location. Graceland enabled. I've enjoyed controlling it from my laptop on the patio.
The big difference is QUALITY!!! From the pickup lasers to the electronics, this is an audiophile quality unit. Anyone familiar with McIntosh products will be aware of this. Retail price on this unit is $5,300. It was purchased locally from my Modia Home Theater dealer brand new. It is in mint condition - no scratches, etc. It will ship in it's original box with all original packaging, inluding the leather bound manual. It will come loaded with my music collection of 2,536 songs. Mostly rock'nrolll, but some jazz and country and DTS material.
I have the list of CD's on it and the MS300 Music Server Advanced Guide in PDF format that I can e-mail on request. If you are local, I'd be glad to demo the unit.
