I'll be getting this for the Danny DeVito commentary. They are always enjoyable and worth listening to. Caught Mathilda on the West End in London, pre-pandemic.

Thanks for the review, @Todd! Glad to hear they did right by this one.

I'll be getting this for the Danny DeVito commentary. They are always enjoyable and worth listening to.
I'm happy with my Blu-ray copy, but that might push me over the edge down the road, too.

Looking back, it's insane that Sony allowed the director of Throw Momma from the Train and The War of the Roses to make their kids movie -- and the box office reflected that. But he was the perfect choice for this Americanized adaptation, since Roald Dahl has a nasty streak too.

Still haven't seen Matthew Warchus's film adaptation of Dennis Kelly and Tim Minchin's musical adaptation, however.

I would get this for the commentary if it was included on the Blu-ray. Since it isn't, I have no reason to buy this again.
