LG BD 370 Network Blu-ray Disc Player Update (1 Viewer)

I own a BD370 and was wondering if anyone else here also owns one as a recent software update has me worried. I copy all the DVD's I buy so that the "original" that I bought may stay in perfect condition(if i lend it out, or drop it, etc) and I know that recent firmware updates to things like my xbox 360 has blocked my ability to play these copies. Does anyone know if this update will do something similar?


**I understand why companies like Microsoft do this, to stop pirated movies from being bought and played.
