Kaleidescape announces collaborations with Trinnov and Lutron (1 Viewer)

For owners of ultra-high-end cinemas – or those who aspire to own one – there were two announcements by AV player manufacturer Kaleidescape this past week. Both Kaleidescape and Trinnov Audio entered a partnership for new customers of two of the companies’ products. With the purchase of a Trinnov Altitude16 or Altitude32 AV processor and a Kaleidescape Terra + Strato C, customers are promised a package of 4K Dolby Atmos and DTS:X mastered titles free on the Kaleidescape system. The promotion is available from September 1st, 2021, through December 31st, 2022.

Im not sure why the Kaleidescape / Lutron integration has been done. I would presume 99% of installs with Kaleidescape have a control system installed and the control system could be setup to have a custom trigger to "if Kaleidescape ON, do X with Lutron", baking the logic into the Kaleidescape seems unessacery.
