Those beautiful images are costing the airline industry $200 million/day. Doesn't that volcano know that it's not 2012 yet?

Oh, the financial costs are bad. But, still doesn't hurt the beauty of it also. Then again, if I was being run out of my home by it, it might not be so pretty, but that one on top, with the aurora above the volcano.. stunning.

I think the Mayans were wrong about the date what with an earthquake in a different part of the world on an almost weekly basis. My hometown (Puerto Rico) was rocked by a 5.9 temblor that also affected eastern part of Santo Domingo and there have never been earthquakes in that part of the world.
