Enough of you posted positive comments, so I picked this up on HD DVD along with First Blood on BD. I watched a bit of it before I left home to watch Spiderman 3 at the theatre. I concur with most of the observations regarding the PQ and AQ. The PQ is much improved over the SD version. The AQ still sounds pretty thin. I think some of the acting in the flick really was atrocious but, overall, I still like the film; especially the look of it.

Way to bring back a 2mos old thread.:)

I haven't seen the HD-DVD version as I have a PS3, but I do have INHD and taped that version long ago, and have the DVD version, and can say on both versions the framing was exactly the same. Meaning it was wrong.

From what I've heard it was also the same version they ran on HDNet as well.

Oh well, one of these days they'll do this film justice and fix it the way it should be.:frowning:
