Has anyone used karaoke in their theater? (1 Viewer)

I was invited to an Xmas party last Dec. and the people throwing the party had a karaoke machine. What a blast! Has anyone purchased a karaoke machine or built and/or used a laptop/desktop for karaoke?

I think I've found a new addiction, karaoke.

I recently purchased a pa system and will use a laptop to play MP3+Gs.
I think a karaoke system adds to the fun of a home theater.
I'm going to surprise some friends with karaoke after my next movie party.

Yes...always when us Pinoys gather. We have one of those "Magic Sing" mics with chips containing the songs.

Check out SingSong, it's karaoke on the PC and you can sing any song you want. Also it scores you as you sing. Here's the site:

Hey...guys...I have good experience about karaoke chips for my ED-8000 magic mic which is really amazing as well as no need to carry cds or dvd......so i m jubilant with that.
