I know the current one for sure! :)

Good shot! I actually had this same capture saved to use for my contest back in the day, but never did. Glad to see it used here! :D

If there's one thing I'm finding out quickly, it is that I cannot gauge the difficulty level of a shot!

That may be, but putting a recognizable character *in* the screenshot certainly should help. I'd be surprised if there aren't more people getting this one right.

I'd say a 1-point/"easiest" shot should at least be something where you wouldn't necessarily have had to see the movie in order to be able to recognize it. E.g., a shot with a familiar star in a recognizable costume, or a shot associated with a well-known poster/publicity still from that movie.

Ditto that.

Man, y'all better hope I never do one of these things! :D

Bombed critically and financially, found a cultish following on DVD, where I found it. Never really understood why critics tore into this one so badly (34% RT Meter!). It's not the most original movie out there, but it did somehow manage to feel fresh and even sport some nifty tricks (Gunkata!). (and it's SciFi). Though I've only watched it once (never got around to buying it), "very watchable" is how I would characterize it. That is more than one can say about your average Hollywood output.

Geez....now I know why I stick to the horror screenshot threads! Not a clue...but it looks familiar.

BTW, Equilibrium eh? To quote Donald Sutherland from The Dirty Dozen..."Neeever heard of it."

I actually caught "Equilibrium" theatrically during its brief (I think one-week) run here. I'm a Bale fan, but I thought it was quite an interesting film.

I know it, I know it, I know it!!!

...Well, that is, I thought I knew it, but I checked the disc at the scene where I thought it was, and it isn't there. Guess I'll stick with my initial impulse and hope it is somewhere else in the movie.

**Turns off lights so there's only bounce in the room to better see the image**

Still has no idea.
