I decided to quit playing with toys (Roku, Google/Android TV, Chromecast) and get my first ever HTPC. Since none of my toys support passing HD audio thru to my AVR, I figured it was time to get something better.
To start this adventure I ordered a Zotac ZBOX from NewEgg. I also ordered 8 GB RAM and a SSD for the OS. It already has an AMD processor and Radeon Graphics. From the reviews it seems it will be perfect for my needs.
I am going to install OpenELEC modified for PLEX.
This should be fun.
