This seems like a strange concept to me. In the film, Wakanda believes that they are the only power in the world that controls a significant amount vibranium. In Wakanda Forever, Ramonda is shocked to find out that Namor has it too. The original film also underlines the fact that Klaue is the only person to successfully steal vibranium from the Wakandans. If this entire show is about Wakandans sneaking around the world to take back vibranium artifacts, it seems like that undercuts the idea that they thought they controlled all fit.
Variety said:“Throughout Wakandan history, brave warriors have been tasked to travel the world retrieving dangerous vibranium artifacts. This is their story,” reads the official logline, per Marvel. The studio has been developing multiple series set in Wakanda with “Black Panther” director Ryan Coogler, and a source tells Variety Coogler will also be involved in the forthcoming animated project. Coogler is currently under a multi-year overall TV deal with the Walt Disney Company through his Proximity Media banner.
