dvd player problems...need help! (1 Viewer)

OK, so I have a 32" Panasonic HDTV and a Toshiba SD4700 dvd player connected with AR component cables. Now, the problem: while watching pretty much any dvd, I notice the picture color switches from what seems to be warm and cool color settings at random, or it sorta looks like a difference in brightness/contrast. It kinda flashes between the two settings. And this effects the whole screen, including the black bars at the top and bottom. I don't know where the problem is coming from. Could it be that the dvd player is struggling to handle the picture changes in the movie, or the cables getting interferance, or maybe the component video on the tv just suck! Any ideas?

Check your connections again. See if everything is firmly connected. Unplug and replug.
