DishNetwork PVR Special (1 Viewer)

Dish Network is currently running a special for EXISTING subscribers. You can buy the DishNetwork PVR for $199 if you commit to 12 months of the America's Top 150 package. I'm not sure if my question should go here or in the PDR forum, since it relates to both. How does the DishNetwork PVR compare to Tivo/Replay? It offers up to 35 hours of recording capability. Beyond that, I don't know much about either the DishNetwork PVR or Tivo/Replay.
Any general comments/suggestions?

Thanks for the reply and the links, Bill. Some of the information in those posts came in very handy. Unfortunately, the search feature wasn't available when I posted the question.
Now the only decision I have to make is whether or not I actually want to buy this, since I was basically planning to cancel my service as I watch very little TV. Obvously I won't be able to cancel if I get the PVR, so do I really want to be obligated for another year? When you think about it, it's really more than a year, as the PVR without a DishNetwork subscription would be useless.
Decisions, decisions!
